The 2011 RACK Field Day will be June 25th and 26th at Fort Dickerson Park in South Knoxville. See map on the right side of this page for directions. This event is open to anyone interested in amateur radio, whether your a RACK member or not. Station set up and antenna installation will start around 10:00 am on Saturday. The contest event officially starts at 2pm and will run around the clock until sometime Sunday afternoon.
Novice/Technician class hams that do not have operating privileges in the HF bands will be able to operate, since we will be operating under the Club W4BBB callsign. We will also have a special station set up for anyone that has never had the opportunity to operate a ham radio, whether you have a ham license or not. All new and prospective hams are also encouraged to participate. Food and beverages will be provided to everyone that attends. This event is a lot of fun, please drop by at any time during this event and check us out.
