September 2011 Meeting

Greetings,

As a reminder, this months RACK meeting will be this Thursday, September 15th at 7:00PM at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. The activity for this month will be a video presentation of the K5D DXpedition from Desecheo Island in 2009 narrated by Bob Allphin, K4UUE. For those of us that got the opportunity to make contact with K5D will be able to get a behind the scenes look at what it took to give us a rare contact from the comfort of our hamshacks. I think everyone will enjoy this presentation, regardless whether you are a newbie or seasoned ham. I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
